Reversing My Mother’s Alzheimer’s Was Nothing Short of a Miracle

When I first asked Susan for Neurofeedback help with Mom, her Dementia/Alzheimer’s symptoms were getting worse and out of control. It was significantly impacting her quality of life and our ability to interact with her. Her agitation and verbal outbursts were frequent, and she experienced significant episodes of disorientation, often failing to recognize her own children.

Mom was at a point where she would get very agitated and lash out verbally. She often could not recognize my brother, sister and me. With Neurofeedback treatment, Mom is with us (present) more often and is more pleasant to be around. We are able to play family board games with her and enjoy her company sometimes. Susan is terrific about listening, asking and incorporating what is going on with Mom in real time and adjusting her treatment accordingly. Neurofeedback has also helped Mom with her balance and physical coordination. It is not a cure, but it has certainly helped a lot with my Mom’s condition and helped her to stay with us.

Since starting neurofeedback with Susan, we've observed a marked improvement in Mom's overall well-being. She's exhibiting increased presence and engagement in family activities. We've even been able to enjoy playing board games together, something that was previously impossible due to the severity of her symptoms. This positive change is largely attributable to Susan's attentive approach; she consistently monitors Mom's symptoms, proactively adjusts the treatment plan as needed, and maintains excellent communication with us throughout the process.

Furthermore, we've noticed a positive impact on Mom's physical coordination and balance. While neurofeedback isn't a cure for dementia, the improvements we've witnessed are significant and have substantially enhanced Mom's quality of life and our ability to care for her. We are incredibly grateful for the positive influence it has had on our family.
